We build our aluminum prints with inset wood back frames for clients who want added strength, stability, and a refined presentation. The inset frame sits behind the aluminum panel, providing structural support while maintaining a clean, floating appearance. This combination offers durability without adding unnecessary weight.

The wood frame reinforces the aluminum, keeping it perfectly flat over time. It also supports Z‑bar and security hanging systems, both of which require either a wooden or aluminum back frame. This makes the inset wood frame an excellent choice for installations that demand secure mounting or long‑term stability.

For highlighted sizes — 20x50, 20x60, 30x50, 30x60, 36x36, 36x48, 40x40, 40x50, and 40x60 — we recommend this frame for optimal support. These sizes also require custom shipping crates and freight delivery. We ask clients to request an estimate before placing an order, as crate and freight costs are billed at cost.

We also offer larger or custom sizes. Clients who need a unique dimension or specialized configuration can contact us for a personalized quote.
